… a sonnet from the heart …

Mine is a story yet half done
The Telling of it Saddens one.
For Romance true and Beautious be,
but just as True is Cruelty.

So True Love starts and fills the Half,
As well as Kisses and the Laughs…
But then the world both Past and Fore
Undoes what once was……  Nevermore!

And so and thus you know the Plot…
We near the Halfmark, told the ‘What’.
But now Before us lies the ‘Why’ and
‘How’ it is that Love should Die.

Excellent, so much said with so few words, bravo!

    • Hello girlfriend! Must give credit where credit’s due…
I was watching “Shakespeare in Love”…a Fabulous Film!..
and when it was done, his vernacular was ringing in my
brain cells… and out poured this Sonnet, and without
pause OR editing! I’ve been wanting to formulate my
thoughts on the stopping and starting, the why and what,
and now at last I am getting a clearer road ahead.

    • The clarity I have received regards this writing has come to this…
The first half is About HIM….. the second half is about ME…
The first half is the Romance, the Fantasy, the Mythic Tale…
The second half is as all of this crashes as Waves upon Reality….
as I return to Brasil for a Six Month Stay.

    Wonderfully well said.

I have been missing a lot of your posts, my subscription went messed up, so now I am resubscribing to you. I hope you don’t mind 🙂

  4. Marcos C. says:

I really liked your sonnet, that was good. It made me wanna write one, since I haven’t done so in a long time. 😀

  5. It was funny, Marcos, because right after watching
Shakespeare in Love, the whole thing just poured out
before me on some scrap of paper I found…luckily!
isn’t it wonderful how creation happens?
