The moon and I know a little secret
But you won’t come to me and

Long lost lives
preview
things long lost.
Time is an
ever ending
illusion
bound to land
you laughing
to yourself
and
dreaming of dust.

Whispering winds wind into our heart
pressing ever gently into tomorrow
where so much dirt can
become a pile of goodness.
Remember the ant
and remember to
speak harshly to them when
they steal from you.

Callouses cannot know
the pain of existence
leads to sorrow.
They only know
their own heart
and what they must do.
Accomplish much…
love lavishly…
and keep a sweater
in your back seat.

When I try it does not come,
and when I come I do not try.
What is the difference my heart asks…
and the answer comes without effort.

Green tomatoes wait the call to red
the sun filling them up like
chilled glasses turning warm.
Berries sit in green lines
slowing taking their turn
at the dark side
knowing full well that
I shall eat them.

Letting go causes one
to ponder the
pauses and pains.
Why this existence
is such remains a
mystery, but
with only two hands,
something has to go.

Mind soft and fuzzy
quieted and numb
waiting
for words that
only come when the
opening
lets me
wait…
the wait creates
spaces
that fill in with
non thoughts
and out come
words expressing
essence.
